Audition Requirements 1 individual dance/twirl strut routine 1-2 minutes twirlers provide their own music 1 group routine taught at clinic music provided basic marching basic twirls* There are two clinics in April (10am-3pm each day). Auditions are also in April. Most of the requirements for the auditions will be taught during the clinic sessions. Dress is a majorette uniform, pantyhose and tennis shoes.

The University of North Alabama Majorettes are a dance, twirl team within the UNA "Pride of Dixie" Marching Band. The Majorettes perform with the band at football games, pep rallies, parades, exhibitions, and other activities. The individual tryout routine must be 1-1.5 minutes. It must include at least 3 tosses and cannot include two baton. Basic twirls include: Two hand spin Horizontals(both) Horizontal fingers(right) Little joe flips(both) Figure eights(right) Step-ball change(side) Vertical one turn Vertical finger twirls(right) Horizontal box toss(left)
