Audtions for majorettes are held in the spring, usually at the end of April. Canidates should perform an original routine that includes 1,2,3 baton and ribbon(s). The routine should include both vertical and horizontal twirls.
UNC majorettes
The following tricks are required:
  • toss illusion
  • toss cartwheel
  • 2-turns
  • rolls
  • fingers
  • catch-left
  • catch-right
  • catch-under leg
  • catch-behind back
    • Canidates will also be judged on the execution of selected variety of tricks and catches.
