~ next squad ~

~ Carnegie Mellon University ~

The squad uses batons, knives and ribbons to perform to the routines. Anyone who wants to join, will be gladly taught, whether they have prior dance experience or not.

Two majorettes made up the squad this year. We twirled for one song during each half time show. The band changes the show each week (that they play). We also perform the fight song on the track for pregame and whenever the team scores. There are other potential opportunities to perform through Dancers' Symposium and talent show performances. And the captains are also looking into parades and competitions!

The Kiltie Band plays at all the home football games and typically one away game each year. The organization offers students a chance to relax and have fun. There are no try-outs, any one is welcome.
