The University of Cincinnati Bearcats boast between one to three feature twirlers and a possible alternate each year. These features twirl up to four batons, knives and fire batons and are expect to do 3-turns and toss illusions as minimum requirements.
The twirlers participate in all home football games, occasional away games, parades, bowl games, and occasional basketball halftimes. In the future, they are planning to add collegiate competitions to their schedule! Contact Dr. Terrin Frenz @ 513-556-BAND to make arrangements for trying out. Tryouts are usually done by mailing a video tape or attending a live tryout at the university in May or June.
	Because UC limits the number of twirlers, it gives you a chance to build good friendships. It also allows you more solo time on the field to showcase your skills!
