The squad currently has three twirlers but is looking to add to the line every year. There is not a set number of spots available. Twilers perform with one and two batons, fire, hoop & twirl knives. They perform pregame and half-time at all football games and also participate in parades and exhibition performances.

On the field twirlers perform a lot of exchanges, two spins and toss illusions. The most important thing they look for is good technique, great showmanship and a positive spirit.

Costal Carolina University is located in Myrtle Beach, SC.

"Our squad is incredibly special because we twirl and go to school at the beach! As you can see from our pictures we have a lot of fun. Going to school and living so close to the beach is awesome, you can work on your tan and study at the same time and the life guards aren't bad either."

For auditions, twirlers are required to perform a two minute individual routine to their own music.
